OCD Network is a non-profit society dedicated to supporting individuals with OCD, caregivers, professionals, and driven young individuals. Established in 2018 in response to the growing number of OCD cases, OCD Network has been committed to delivering top-notch support services, cohesive activities, and fostering a closely bonded community for those battling OCD.

Treatment For
OCD

OCD can be successfully treated and evidence shows that the sooner it is detected and treated the better the outcomes are likely to be. OCD can be effectively treated by CBT(Cognitive Behaviour Therapy) or a combination of medications and CBT . Also, there are newer modalities of treatment, such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) that are now approved to treat OCD.

OCD is a treatable neurological disorder that involves unwanted intrusive thoughts and repetitive behaviors. These behaviors are done to alleviate distress caused by the obsessions. OCD can be time-consuming, emotionally distressing, and affect daily life and relationships.

Caring for someone with OCD

OCD is a neurological problem, not anyone's fault. Obsessions are involuntary and cannot be controlled by willpower. Family, caregivers, and friends often feel helpless and unsure of how to support their loved one. Their responses, whether antagonistic or accommodating, can worsen OCD symptoms. Criticism and blame further distress individuals with OCD.
